Susan Elaine Clark

Susan Elaine Clark, 62, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 2, 1955 in Daviess Co., KY. Susan was retired from the Academy of Learning. She loved her work and helping the children, working word search puzzles, and playing games on her computer. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Boone, her sister, Jonell Cox, a nephew, Tim Cox, her uncle, Donnie Bear, and her father-in-law, Bernard Clark.

Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Joseph Leo Clark, three daughters, Samantha Kinison (Mike) of Rockfield, KY, Anitra Kinison (Nathan) of Auburn, and Sondra (John) Schartung of Owensboro, her mother, Gladys Bear Boone of Owensboro, her mother-in-law, Kathleen Clark of Owensboro, 12 grandchildren, Brandon, Chaise, LeeAnn, Logan, Landon, Leigha, Haleigh, Emily, Nickolas, Javonte, Paris, and Johnny, her brother, Charles (Becky) Boone of Owensboro, a nephew, Jeremy (Lisa) Cox of Hawesville, and several great nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 3, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday and from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
