Sue Revlett Kennedy

Sue Revlett Kennedy, 85, of Owensboro passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2012. She was born March 30, 1927 in McLean County to the late Lewis and Maggie Revlett.

Sue worked at Mercy Hospital as a nurse's aid for several years. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville for many years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, as well as quilting in her pastime. She was a dedicated homemaker who put the needs of her family before her own. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Harry Kennedy; 2 daughters Carol McLimore and husband Jim of Shepherdsville KY, Connie Hagan and husband Tom of Owensboro; 3 sons, Jerry Kennedy of Owensboro, Tom Kennedy of Rockport IN, and Dean Kennedy and wife Marilyn of Louisville KY; 1 brother, Charles Revlett of Oceanside CA; 1 sister, Lena King of Booneville IN.

She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; Shawn, Jarrod, Brandon, Jonathan, Benjamin, and Paul Kennedy; Keeley and Kelsey Hagan; Bethany Shaw, Nathan McLimore, Kim Aimone and Lacy Kennedy. Along with 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Rosehill Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 2:15PM with Brother Mark Poiles officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 2:00PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
