Sue Hulsey Gatewood

Sue Hulsey Gatewood, 78, formerly of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in Tyler, TX. Born in Henderson County on July 15, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Margaret Helen Sapp Hulsey; was a homemaker; and of the Baptist Faith. She had been a member of the Daviess County Fish and Game Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gatewood; a son, Wayne Corley; a daughter, Maxine Lesniak; and a sister, Claudia Beals.

Surviving is a daughter, Cindy Travelstead of Tyler, TX; a son-in-law, Marc Hughes; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Fred Hulsey.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens. There will be no public visitation.
