Sue Ellen Barker Clark

Sue Ellen Barker Clark, 86, of Owensboro, Kentucky, died Wednesday, February, 8, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waverly, Kentucky to the late William I. and Mary Johnson Barker. She graduated as Salutatorian from St. Peter's Academy and attended Lockyear Business College. Mrs. Clark was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church, Legion of Mary, and Daughters of Isabella. She was a hospital volunteer, a Kentucky Colonel, and had been an excellent bookkeeper for over 28 years. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Michael Clark and twelve brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Marc Clark and his wife Cara of Newburgh, IN, Dennis Clark and his wife Cecelia of Chicago, IL, David Clark of Panama City, Florida; daughters, Rebecca Clark of Cottonwood, AZ and Kathy Clark of Owensboro; and grandchildren, Aaron Clark, Nicholas Lawrence, Matthew Lawrence, Benjamin Clark, Rachel Clark, and Daniel Clark.

Services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be at 6 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery in Waverly, Kentucky.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Immaculate Catholic Church or the Daughters of Isabella.
