Sue Carolyn Canary Chamberlin

Sue Canary Chamberlin, 69, of Owensboro passed away Monday, September 22, 2008 at her home. Born May 1, 1939, Mrs. Chamberlin was the daughter of the late Martin and Frances Delaney Canary; was retired from the State of Kentucky where she was an administrative assistant in the Department of Probation and Parole; and was a member of the Hartford United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, restoring furniture, gardening; and spending time with her grandson and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dalton Canary and sisters, Ruby Canary, Martha Parker, and Rene Wilson.

Mrs, Chamberlin is survived by daughters, Martha "Marty" Canary of Owensboro and Rudy Clark of Louisville; a grandson, Aidan Clark of Louisville; nieces and nephews, Connie Cornelius of Lewisport, David Wilson of Owensboro, Debbie Feeney of Erie, PA, and Nisha Lane of Owensboro; and great-niece and nephew, Kalaha and Alex Lane of Whitesville.

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home followed by burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 11 a.m.on Thursday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
