Steve Woodward, 65, of Reynolds Station, passed away on June 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Daviess County on June 6, 1961, Steve lived with a tireless work ethic, a deep love for God, appreciation for life’s blessings, and a capacity to love that was every bit as large as his unforgettable personality. He was the owner of Mid-America Drywall and a master craftsman in his trade. Steve didn’t spend all his time working. He was a member of Christ Redeemer Church of Owensboro, loved studying God’s Word, going fishing with his children, and finding ways to make his grandchildren smile. Before work every morning, you would find Steve at the Fordsville Diner in his familiar spot with the same group of guys as the day before. He loved people, loved to have meaningful conversations, and loved the life he and his wife Kathy, built together.
Steve was preceded in death by his infant brother, Kevin Woodward.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Eubanks Woodward; children, Mitchell (Desiree) Jones, Steven (Stephanie) Woodward, Jeremiah Woodward, Joshua (Sara) Woodward, Phillip (Rae) Woodward, Kevin Woodward and his only daughter, April Woodward; seventeen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; parents, Donald and Dorothy Crabtree Woodward; siblings, Richard Woodward, Colby (Tanna) Woodward, Michael (Charlisa) Woodward, Todd (Maryann) Woodward, and Shawna Woodward along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
