Steve Vernon Paxton

Steve Vernon Paxton, Jr., 75 of Rockport passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born October 11, 1943 to the late Steve Paxton, Sr. and Cora Belle Paxton. Steve was married to his high school sweetheart for 55 years. He loved tinkering in the garage, working on the farm, hunting and fishing. Steve was a millwright by trade. He loved his family, for they were his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Arriaga (Jesse); his brother, Donald Paxton
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Paulette Fulkerson Paxton of Rockport; his son, Jim Paxton (Lee) of Lakeland, FL; his grandson, Tyler Paxton of Lakeland, FL; his granddaughter, Shelby Paxton of Lakeland, FL; his sisters, Nancy Spinks (Hayward) of Hartford, Jean Wilson (Wendell) of Beaver Dam, Marilyn Crume (David) of Hartford, and Donna Cambron (Mike) of Hartford; his sister-in-law, Martha Paxton of Henderson; several nieces and nephews
