Steve Marksberry

Steve Marksberry, 56, of Richland, Indiana, passed away August 20, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born August 17, 1960, to Gene and Sarah Lee Hall Marksberry in Colombus, Ohio. Steve was a proud member of IUOE Local 181, who enjoyed reading and music. He was a fan of Nascar and UK basketball. He was a handy man and staunch Union Democrat. Above all, he was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family unconditionally.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Marksberry; brother, Ronnie Marksberry; wife, Tracy Marksberry; and nieces, Jessica and Julie Harrison.

Steve is survived by his mother, Sarah Lee Hall Marksberry; daughter, Chelsea Marksberry; sons, Zach (Amanda), Jacob (Kaci Pate), and Joshua Marksberry; sisters, Jennifer (Eddie) Fulkerson, Sandra, and Peggy Marksberry; and nine grandchildren.


Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
