Stephen Cary Powers

Stephen Cary Powers, 56, of Owensboro, passed on to be with the Lord on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on May 15, 1956 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Oswald Robert and Christine Rhoads Powers. Stephen was employed with Don Moore Auto Mall. He was a very talented mechanic, loved to tinker with anything, and he always loved making people laugh. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Lee Powers.



Surviving are his children, Stephen Lance Powers of Owensboro and Erica Fay Jones and husband John Michael of Owensboro, the mother of his children, Terri Sue Powers of Owensboro, and four grandchildren, Kaila, Kaylynn, Katie, and Stephen Gage.

Services will be 12 Noon Thursday, March 21, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
