Stephen Bruce Johnson

Stephen B. Johnson, 45, 140 Denton-Slack Rd., Fordsville, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2004, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. and had worked as a mechanic for 26 years with Unilever Best Foods. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting & fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Buddy Johnson, Jr. on March 12, 1964 and a son, Derek Wayne Johnson on Dec. 21, 1998.
Surviving is his fiance, Becky Newcom of Fordsville, his mother, Elizabeth Jackson of Owensboro, 2 sons, Michael Jessie Johnson and his fiance, Tasha Karnes and Bradley Alan Johnson, all of Fordsville, 2 grandchildren, MaKaley Rae & Toby Wayne Johnson, both of Fordsville, a brother, Buddy Joe Johnson, and 2 sisters, Penny Michelle Melton and Connie Gail Duke, all of Owensboro, and several nieces & nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 22, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev, James Wedding officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
