Stephen E. French, 66, passed away September 28, 2015 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born August 21, 1949, in Evansville, IN to the late Henry E. French and Aline M. French. Stephen was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a member of BridgePointe Church and was a Graphic Artist at UniFirst. Stephen loved electronics and had a certain wit and sense of humor like no other. He loved his children, grandchildren, and his wife of 10 years, Martha, very much.
Stephen was survived by his wife, Martha; son, Stephen French; step-daughter, Tammy Pressley (Josh); grandchildren, Sydney and Braden Pressley; brothers David M. French and Michael A. French (Janice); sisters, Mary E. Weikel (Jerry), Nancy E. Scofield (Paul), and Janet S. Oechsle (Steve), and eleven nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at BridgePointe Church. Visitation will be from 12 noon Wednesday until the time of service at the Church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Friends of French in care of Connie Hardison 2401 New Hartford Rd. Owensboro, KY 42303, or the Heartford House.
