Stephen Ray Bartlett

Stephen Ray Bartlett, 52, of 4459 Kentucky 81, Calhoun, KY, died Saturday, August 24, 2002 at his home. The Daviess County native was a Heavy Equipment Operator with Peters Construction Company and was a member of Third Baptist Church. He was a member of American Legion Post 9 and VFW Post 696, AMVETs Post 75, TPA and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a avid UK basketball fan.

He is survived by his fiancee', Heather Ann Stovall; a son, Stephen ''Bubby'' Bartlett, Jr. of Owensboro; a daughter, Carlene Wilson of Missouri; his mother, Margie Bartlett of Owensboro; a brother, Jerry Bartlett of Owenbsoro; two sisters, Joyce Patterson of Owensboro and Shirley Dieckmann of Hardinsburg; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Monday and after 9 A.M. on Tuesday.
