Stella Mae Berry

December 28, 1922 — February 27, 2004

Stella Berry, 81, of Panther, died Friday, February 27, 2004 after a courageous year long battle with brain cancer. She joins her parents, Goldman and Edith Belcher and her two adored brothers,Wilbur and Raymond Belcher in the loving arms of God.
Stella was retired from General Electric and attended Glenville Baptist Church and Little Flock Holiness. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and was an avid UK fan. Her greatest pleasure was providing love and support to her devoted family and friends. She always wore a smile and had a kind remark for all, friend and stranger alike.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Snead and husband Sonny Snead of Owensboro, granddaughter, Roxanna Redden and husband Nathan of Covington, Ky., two great grandchildren Sawyer and Audriana Redden, sister in law, Carrie Belcher, nieces Sharon Pike, Shelia Eubank and husband Darrell , Judy Walker, nephews, Rick Belcher and wife, Nancy, all of Owensboro, Darrell Belcher and wife Lona of Pleasant Ridge, and long time friend and companion Jesse Jones of Panther.
Services will be held 2:30 P.M. Monday, March 1, 2004 at Glenn Funeral Home with the Revs. Jerry Emberton and Anthony Broadley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill in Elba with the Rev. Charles Thomas presiding. Friends may visit from 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and after 9 a.m .Monday. Floral arrangements may be sent to the funeral home or memorial contributions may be given to Hospice Association Memorial Fund. Online condolences may be made at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
