Stan Bellamy

Stan Bellamy, 72, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on August 18, 1953, in Bainbridge, MD, to the late Alonzo and Emma Jean Mitchell Bellamy.

Stan was retired from Big Rivers Electric after 22 years of dedicated service and was co-owner of Triangle Oil LLC. Outside of work, he also enjoyed going fishing, hunting, and raising his garden to share the rewards with his family and friends.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ellis Ray Bellamy.

Stan is survived by his wife of 46 years, Connie Bellamy; his three sons, Brent Bellamy, Brian Bellamy, and his daughter, Everlee Rose Bellamy, and Jay Bellamy; siblings, Gloria (Charlie) Henning, Ella (Tony) Howard, and Roger ( Debbie) Bellamy; brothers and sisters in law, Douglas (Doris) Clark, Bruce (Donna) Clark, and Susie Howard Bellamy; also, many nieces and nephews.

The funeral Mass for Stan will be held at 10 am, Saturday, May 30, 2026, at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Father Larry Hostetter officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 7 pm with prayers at 6 pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and on Saturday from 9 am until time of the Mass at the church.
