Stacey Jo Wilcox

Stacey Jo Wilcox, 58, of Owensboro, passed into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky and her family. Mrs. Wilcox was born April 13, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Sam and JoAn Stacker of Bowling Green. Stacey was a 1976 graduate of Bowling Green High School. She attended Brescia University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She went on to earn her CPA and was a member of the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mrs. Wilcox owned her own CPA business for many years. She was the Accounting manager for Consolidated Mechanical Construction Company.
Stacey was married to Gary Wilcox for 35 years and was an active member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Her love for her sons lead her to become a Boy Scout leader for many years. Stacey was a generous and kind individual with a great sense of humor.
Survivors include her husband Gary Wilcox; sons, Joel Harrison Wilcox and Aaron Wilson Wilcox both of Owensboro; sister, Caprice Stacker Dodson of Houston Texas; brothers, Rusty Stacker (Nancy) of Smiths Grove, and Scott Stacker (Loni) of Bowling Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express special thanks to family and friends who loved and cared for Stacey.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Yellow Creek Baptist Church "Grace" Sunday school class, 5741 Ky-144, Owensboro, KY 42303, and Hospice of Western Kentucky.
The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. James Wedding officiating. Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
