Stacey Lynn Ambs

Stacey Lynn Ambs , 43 , of Owensboro, passed away on March 31st 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Stacey was born on July 23rd 1968 in Owensboro, Ky.


Stacey was a Homemaker who loved to cook and listen to music. If she wasn't in the kitchen making meals for her family she was watching movies with them. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family before herself. The only thing that came close to matching the love she had for her family was "Tiny", her dog.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Darrell Wayne Head, and a son Christopher Wayne Head

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Ambs of Owensboro; parents, Goldman Carden and Eva Jewell, of Owensboro; four sons, David Lee Elliott (Misty), James Issac Elliott (Holly), both of Owensboro, Corey Nicholas Elliott (Jessica) of Kokomo, IN, and Brandon Ambs, also of Owensboro; two daughters, Faith and Heaven Ambs of Owensboro; two brothers David Carden and Marion Carden of Owensboro; Six grandchildren, Charles Wayne Elliott, Amber Nicole Elliott, Aleeya Marie Elliott, Hadley Lee Ann Elliott, Jayden Lee Elliott, Nathaniel Wayne Elliott and Eric Burell, all of Owensboro.

Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory will be in charge of arrangements. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
