Shirley A Wigginton

Shirley Wigginton, 79, of Masonville, ended her earthly journey on July 6, 2024. Better known as “Memaw” to her family. The Livermore native was born September 11, 1944, to the late Kenneth and Wanda Gray. She was a graduate of Daviess County High School and Bowling Green College of Commerce, after which she began her working career at Citizens State Bank (now Chase Bank) and later retired from Field Packing Company (SFG) in 2005. 

 Shirley married Barry Wigginton on November 1, 1963, and they spent sixty years together. She was a member of Bethabara Baptist Church where she had many friends. 

 Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Barry; son, Kevin Wigginton (Kim); daughter, Tricia Phelps (Steven); grandchildren, Krissy, Brittany, Katherine, Laura, Chase, and Andrew; two step-grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Culbertson and ten great-grandchildren.

 The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with same day visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Ohio County.
