Shirley Lynn Shelton

Shirley Lynn King Harrison Shelton, 50, of Sebree, formerly of Owensboro, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at her mother and sister's home in Evansville, Indiana. Shirley was a nursing assistant for Colonial Terrace in Sebree.

She was preceded in death by her dad Clarence Dickens in 1994, and her grandparents; Conrad Towery in 1986 and Ivy Towery in 1988.


Surviving are her mother; Betty Dickens of Evansville, IN., her sister; Susan Lane of Evansville, brothers; Carroll (Brenda) Dickens, and Terry Dickens, all of Springfield, TN., Tracy (Malissa) Dickens of Henderson, KY., nieces and nephews; , Breanna Lane,David and Kevin Shelton, Christy Meiers, Nicki McIe, Josh, Megan and Meridith Dickens, all of Tennessee, Sesha, Jessica, Matthew, Skye and Brianna Dickens, all of Kentucky ; a daughter Chrystal King of Owensboro, and her husband; Larry Shelton or Oregon, step-son; Steven(Mary) Shelton of Henderson, Ky., and great-nieces and nephews; Noah and Hannah Meiers, and Emilie and Christopher McIe.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 31, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Brushy Fork Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Deaconess Hospice Care in Evansville.
