Shirley Ann Mehlbauer

Shirley Mehlbauer, 51, of Falls of Rough, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at her home. She was born on October 23, 1962 in Daviess County, to the late Marion Luttrell and Margarette Boone. Shirley spent time at home taking care of the family that she loved. She enjoyed gardening, going on bike rides, fishing, and loved to laugh. Shirley was a member of the KY I Chapter of the Blue Knights. Most of all, she was a loving mother, wife and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Richard A. Mehlbauer; son, Richard A. Mehlbauer Jr. (Kristen); daughters, Christina A. Boone (Anthony) and Amy B. Mehlbauer; granddaughters, Maddelyn, Evelyn, and Chloe; grandsons, Aiden, Logan, and Eli; sisters, Elaine Rafferty, Becky Brooks, Tammy Cotton, and Patricia Luck; and brothers Marion E. Luttrell Jr. and Lewis Luttrell.

Services will be 4PM Saturday, March 1, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Mike Shelton officiating. Visitation will be 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
