Shirley Louise Keller

Shirley Louise Keller, 77, of 1413 Walnut Street, Owensboro died Monday, September 23, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born on February 12, 1925 in Daviess County, Kentucky the daughter of Marion & Frances Lanham. Her husband, Joseph William Keller, preceded her in death on November 16, 1991.

She retired from General Electric Company after 37 years. She was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral where she was on the Bereavement Committee, a Eucharistic minister, and an R. C. I. A. helper. She enjoyed aerobics, traveling, making crafts and University of Kentucky Basketball.

Survivors include one son, Martin Keller of Owensboro; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother Henry Lanham of Owensboro and one sister, Lucy Harpe of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at Saint Stephen Cathedral, officiated by Reverend John Vaughan. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2002 and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Prayers will be said at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
