Shirley L. Hodges

Shirley L. Hodges, 77, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday July 23, 2024, at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation. She was born November 2, 1946, to the late Earl L. McCrady and Martine Hall McCrady.

Shirley is survived by her children, Pamela (Timothy) Goodman of Owensboro, Tony (Julie) Hodges of House Springs, and Donna (Jamie) Edgar of Fishers; grandchildren, Christopher (Kristin) Goodman, Lisa Goodman, Josh (Anna) Manson, Dalton Dorsey, Sophie Hodges, Brayden Hodges, Noah Edgar, and Elizabeth Edgar; great grandchildren, Jayce Carroll, Piper Goodman, and Kennedy Manson. She is also survived by her brother, Earl (Edna) McCrady.

Shirley (Dooney) loved her family, puzzles, and the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team not necessarily in that order. Family learned to check the game schedule before calling to check in on her. Shirley was a LPN and spent much of her life caring for others. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.

A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be arranged by her family.
