Shirley Jean Hill Hicks

Shirley Hill Hicks, 70, of 1216 Castlewood Dr., Owensboro, died Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Weaver, IA, native was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Arch Hicks; three sons, Archie L. Hicks, Marty Hicks and Wayne Hicks all of Owenbsoro; a daughter, Debby Benningfield of Owensboro; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Roy Ferrell of Owensboro, Ralph Rowe of Benton, Jack Crook of Corydon, and David Hill of Bloomington, IN; and a sister, Ruth Gardner of Henderson.

Services were 11:30 A.M. Saturday, Jan 5, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
