Shirley A. Clark, 72, passed away June 8, 2016 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born April 29, 1944 in Daviess County to the late James S. and Mary A. Harley, Shirley was a Machine Operator at Swedish Match and retired after 21 years. She enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and gardening. Shirley loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a lifelong member of St. Williams Catholic Church in Knottsville,
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Clark and sisters, Delores Buck and Martha Alsip.
Shirley is survived by son, Jeff Lanham; daughter, Penny Howard (Ronnie); stepson, Lindsay Clark (Judy); stepdaughters, Angie Cole (Larry) and Vicki Clark; grandchildren, Teresa, B.Jay, Randi, Trevor, Corey, Laney, Brandon, Jeremy, Lin, and Cassidy; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Harley, Wayne Harley (Agnes), Tommy Harley (Diane), Darrell Harley (Sharon), Tim Harley (Jane), Ricky Harley (Kim); sisters, Charlotte Payne (David), Wanda Mills (Ray), Joyce Payne (Ricky) and Mary Rose Howard (Smitch), and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. Williams Catholic Church in Knottsville with Fr. John Okoro officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be Friday at 5:30 p.m.
