Sherry Ray Wolfe

Sherry Ray Wolfe, 68, of Owensboro, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at her home. Sherry was a native of Owensboro, born May 11, 1944 to the late Richard and Eva Leslie (Pagan) Ray. She had worked for the United States Postal Service for 15 years. Sherry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and an excellent homemaker. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Rae Wolfe in 1967, and a brother, Ronnie Lee Ray.
Surviving is her husband of 49 years, Charles W. Wolfe Jr, sons Spencer (Anne) Wolfe of Aurora, Jon Charles (Brenda) Wolfe of Lock Boue, CO, grandchildren, Ehric, Jarrett Charles, Jayla Marie, and Emma Rae Wolfe, a sister, Reba I. Ray of Owensboro, brothers and sisters in law, Jerry and Pat Wolfe of Annapolis, MD, Judy and Al Mattingly, Greg and Debbie Wolfe, Sam and Mary Gail Wolfe, and Theresa Ray, all of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at Owensboro Church of Christ with Jimmy Bunch officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
