Sherry Lynne (Summers) Atcher

Sherry Lynne (Summers) Atcher, 64, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born November 25, 1960, in Muhlenberg County, to the late Charles “Charlie” and Wanda Summers.

Sherry was a graduate of Greenville High School and Western Kentucky University where she received her bachelor’s, master’s and rank 1 degrees. She was an active member of Mt Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church.

To know her was to love her. She had a beautiful smile and was always thinking of others, even during her own bouts with illness. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother to 3 wonderful children.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Barry Atcher of Greenville; two sons, Stetson (Kari Beth) Atcher of Bremen and Landon (Jayme) Atcher of Central City; one daughter, Morgan (Tyler) Brown of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Avery Atcher, Blakely Atcher, Carter Atcher, Madilynn Atcher, Tate Brown and another Brown on the way; sister, Tammy (Clarence) Brewer; nieces and nephews, Logan Brewer, Paige Brewer, Patrick Atcher and Ben Atcher; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Saturday Nov. 29th at 11 A.M. at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Bremen with Brother Adam Brown Officiating. The family invites everyone for a meal after the service in the fellowship hall.
