Sherman Lee Miller

Sherman Lee Miller, 69, of 4239 Hawthorne Drive, Owensboro, died Thursday, February 20, 2003 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on January 2, 1934 the son of Charles and Fannie Hayden Miller.

Mr. Miller was retired from Whirlpool Corporation. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the Air Force. He enjoyed UK basketball & going to flea markets. He also enjoyed playing and coaching softball.

He is survived by one son, Tim Miller of Masonville; one daughter, Kim Lane of Portland, TN; four grandchildren and one sister, Colleen Swank of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend James Wedding. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2003 and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
