Shayla Marie Johnson, 7 months old, passed away January 25, 2019 at Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville. She was born June 6, 2018 in Owensboro to Kya Severs and Chance Johnson. Shayla was a beautiful baby with the cutest chubby cheeks. She was always happy and loved to laugh, play, blow bubbles and was very easy to smile. She was loved and will be missed by all whose life she touched.
She was preceded in death by her great-great grandparents, Vincent and Mildred O'Bryan, Kenneth and Stansell Ebelhar and Regina and JD Logsdon.
She is survived by her parents; grandparents, Amanda O'Bryan and Joey Clark, Denetta (Travis) Johnson; great-grandparents, Gerald (Susan) O'Bryan, Lynn (Kathy) Ebelhar, Betty Gillette and Brenda Jennings; aunts, Michaela O'Bryan (Joshua Majors), Shailon Cupples, Aliya Britt, and Journey Perrin; uncles, Logan Severs, Brian Stogner, Cyler Rich, Corey White, Chris Chambers and a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
