Sharron LaVone Ali, 56, of Owensboro, died August 20, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville. She was born January 20, 1957 in Chicago, IL to the late Rev. James and Dorothy Hill. Sharron was of the Christian faith and a member of Christian Outreach Church in Owensboro.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Shawkat Ali of Owensboro; sons, Aftaz Ali of Owensboro, Byron (Esther) Ali of Germany and Antonio Ali of Owensboro; daughter, Sarrena LaVone (George) Sampson of Owensboro: grandchildren, Mathis Ali, Jacob Sampson, Logan and Mathew Ali, Jaiden Sampson and Samuel Ali.
Services will be Friday, August 23, 2013 at 2 PM at Glenn Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro with Pastor Carolyn Hill and Douglas Hill presiding. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 2 to 8 PM and the day of service from 10 AM to 2 PM.
