Sharon Chapman Wood
November 10, 1929 — April 12, 2001
Mrs. Sharon Chapman Wood, 71, of 4149 Liberty Point, died Thursday, April 12 at her home. She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church and also attended Bellevue Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and volunteer at the Daviess-McLean Baptist Center.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bill Wood, two sons, Steve Wood of Paducah and Rick Wood of Owensboro, a daughter, Susan Ranburger of Owensboro, six grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren, two brothers, E.L. Chapman of Owensboro and Wayne Chapman of Lexington.
Funeral services are 11:30 A.M., Monday, April 16, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 Noon to 6 P.M. Sunday, April 15, 2001 and after 9 A.M., Monday, April 16.
