Sharon Maurice Tinsley

Sharon Murphy Tinsley, 63, of 1833 East 19th St., Owensboro, died Monday, October 13, 2003 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. The Calhoun native was a member of the Cedar Street Baptist Church and worked for Barton Brands. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Hazel Mary Johnson Murphy.

She is survived by two sons, Edward E. Tinsley of Hopkinsville and James L. Tinsley of Owensboro; a daughter, Ursulla Riles of Louisville; five grandchildren; five brothers, Robert Murphy, Gary Wayne Murphy, and Kenneth Murphy all of Owensboro, Tony Murphy of Lewisport, and Billy Murphy of Calhoun; six sisters, Glenda Kirkwood and Deloris Murphy of Calhoun, Connie Black of Flint, MI, Karla Adams of Lewisport, and Sandra Rhodes and Vicki Murphy of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Friday, October 17 at the funeral home.
