Sharon Gay Quisenberry

Sharon Adelman Quisenberry, 84, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at her home. She was born February 1, 1940, in Daviess County, to the late Conrad and Audrey Adelman. Sharon was a member of Christ Community Church. Her hobbies include reading, baking, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Carrol D. Quisenberry; son, Robert “Robbie” Sheldon; daughter, Vicki Smith; brother, Clifton Adelman; sisters, Joyce Deddens, and Faye Harmon.

 Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Stephanie Winklepleck; stepdaughter, Buffy Bittel; chosen son, Steve Harmon (Kathy); grandchildren, Brian Winklepleck, Tyler Winklepleck (Leah), Kelsey Winklepleck (Lucas), Matthew Smith, Dustin Smith, and Travis Bittel; great-granddaughters, Willow Winklepleck and Norah Calloway; and several nieces and nephews.

 Visitation will be Friday, March 22, from 12 PM until 6 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. 

 In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathen’s Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
