Sharon Lou Pruden

Sharon Lou Pruden, 84, of Newburgh passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The Evansville native was born June 25, 1942, to the late Lawrence Kenneth Hall and Catherine Helen Mayer Hall. Sharon attended Christ the King elementary and Memorial high schools. She worked at Honey Fluff Donut Shop for thirteen years. After that she was an award-winning Century 21 sales agent until retirement when she became a home health care giver. Sharon was an active member of New Life Christian Center in Booneville. She led a small group teaching ministry there and later at Church of the Cross in Evansville she led a WOTC group.

In addition to her parents, Sharon also was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Kenneth Hall Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 49 years, Jack Pruden; daughters, Yolanda Jewell Stevens (Don), Roxanna Jewell Edwards (Chris), Kimberly Anne Jewell Morris; stepsons, Randy Pruden (Treva) and Jeff Pruden; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Marlene Chamberlin; several nieces and nephews.
