Sharon Elizabeth Nash

Sharon Elizabeth Nash, 69 of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was born June 27, 1948 to the late William Woodrow and Mary Elizabeth Lanham. Sharon was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She retired from Our Lady of Lourdes Daycare after 10 years of faithful service. Sharon loved to read, especially while sitting on the porch. She was very quick witted. Above all, Sharon loved her children and grandchildren. She was Mom and Grandma to everyone she knew.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Michelle Nash; her brother, Ricky Lanham.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Stephanie Donovan (Jeff) of Owensboro along with their children, Taylor and Christian Donovan; Shannon Bartimus (Jim) of Owensboro along with their children, Matthew and Christopher Bartimus and Kristen Cardwell; her 4 sons, Rob Nash (Kara) of Owensboro along with their children, Jacob and Ella Nash; Phillip Nash (Christy) of Owensboro along with their daughter, Emily Nash; Brad Nash (Melissa) of Owensboro along with their daughter, Gracie Nash; Steven Nash (Mary) of Lexington, KY along with their daughter, Noel Nash coming in June; her brother, Gene "Bean" Lanham (Jan) of Knotsville, KY; her sisters, Carol Knight of Fredonia, KY and Millie Martin (Tommy) of Dycusburg, KY; several nieces and nephews
The service will be 10AM Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Fr. Ed Bradley will officiate. The visitation will be 4-8PM Friday, with prayers beginning at 6:30PM, and 8:30AM until service time on Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Private burial will be held at a later date.
