Sharon Dale Roby McCain, 67, of 2305 Ford Avenue, Owensboro, died Friday, February 13, 2004. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral, a member of Homespun Homemakers, and she volunteered at St. Stephen Cathedral. She lived her life, passionately devoted to her family and her faith. Her husband of 31 years, Henry Hank McCain, preceded her in death on July 11, 1996,and her mother ,Natoma Swain on March 13, 1992.
She is survived by her sons, Scott H. McCain and wife Cindy of Owensboro, Stephen B.McCain of Mooresville, North Carolina, and daughter Leah McCain Settles, and husband Brad of Lexington, Kentucky, 5 grandchildren, Braxton Settles, Harrison Settles, Carter McCain, Randy Bell, and Lauren Bell.
2 sisters, Martha Roby and Linda Fortune, and a brother, Greg Roby.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m.Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at St. Stephen Cathedral. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, with prayers at 6:30 p.m. Monday, and after 9 a.m Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Expressins of sympathy may be made to the Hank and Sharon McCain Memorial Fund at Owensboro Catholic High School,or to St. Joseph Peace Mission for Children, or expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
