Sharon Rose Tremor Heady, 75, of Maceo went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. After a long battle with dementia and congestive heart failure, she passed away peacefully at home. Sharon's grandparents Maude and Lee Faulkerson were founders of Hall St. Baptist Church. Sharon grew up as a child in that church and then came to be married to her husband, Larry Heady at Hall St. Subsequently, they raised both of their children in the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Allen and Dorothy Tremor; her brother, Allen R. Tremor; her daughter, Tracey Lea Heady in 2010.
Survivors include her husband Larry Heady of Maceo; her daughter, Lisa Heady Dickens of Owensboro; her granddaughter, Megan Marie Giddens of Seattle, WA; her sister, Janice Tremor King of California; her 2 brother-in-laws; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
Funeral service will be 4PM Friday, January 19, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. David Heady will officiate. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. The family has requested donations be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky or Global Outreach. The family would like to express their love and forever thanks to the earthly angels from Hospice of Western Kentucky. They have met many caregivers through Sharon's illness but never had any that were so loving and attentive. They cared for her mind, body, and soul as well as each member of this household. The family thanks them from the bottom of their heart.
