Sharon Gail Daugherty

Sharon Daugherty, 58, of 1728 Booth Ave., Owensboro, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at her home. She was born June 4, 1948 to the late Lonnie and Anna Marie Henderson Daugherty in Daviess County. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist. Throughout her Christian walk she was faithfully involved in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and held several other church positions. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and enjoyed quilting, baking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Daugherty and a sister, Sandra Daugherty.

Survivors include her sister, Peggy Tate and her husband, Joe, brother, Larry Daugherty and his wife, Barbara, sister, Linda Jewell and her husband, George, brother, Doug Daugherty, sister, Doris Henderson and her husband, Larry, brother, Lonnie Daugherty, all of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday at First Free Will Baptist Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 until 8:00 PM Thursday and after 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
