Sharon R. Beane

Sharon R. Beane, 64, of 3871 Thresher Street, Owensboro died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at her home. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on June 11, 1938 the daughter of Homer and Bertha Goyne Robbins.

Mrs. Beane was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She graduated from Owensboro High School and Lockyear College. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Douglas Beane; two daughters, Beth Beane Hicks of Owensboro and Jill Beane Hartley of Bowling Green; three grandchildren; three brothers, Allen Robbins of Grapevine, TX, Gene Robbins of Richmond, KY and David Robbins of Owensboro; and two sisters, Alice Johnson of Owensboro and Joyce Davis of Colonial Heights, VA.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at Owensboro Memorial Gardens, Christ Chapel, officiated by Dr. Garry Baldwin.
