Scott Patrick Ward

Scott Patrick Ward, 58, of Owensboro, died Thursday, July 20 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mr. Ward was born August 16, 1958 in Daviess County to the late Robert and Theresa Hayden Ward. Scott was the fourth of thirteen children who graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School in 1976. That summer, he was involved in a tragic automobile accident where he sustained a traumatic brain injury. Scott had great affection for his mother and, also exhibited a sincere devotion to his Catholic faith.

Those left to cherish his memory include his twelve siblings, Susan Green (Chuck), Bobby Ward, Holly Askin (Robert), David Ward (Debbie), Michael Ward (Debby), Leanne Murphy (Scott), Nancy Arnold (Keith), Tracy Ward (Kevin), Julie Murphy (Keith), Kathy Lanham (Brad), Carolyn Hume (Pat), John Ward (Angela); numerous nieces and nephews.

A mass for the family and friends will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 25 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with Father Emmanuel Udoh officiating. Visitation will be after 9:00 AM at the church.
