Scott Robinson

Scott Robinson, 51, of Owensboro, passed away at his home November 14, 2022. He was born in Owensboro to Wm. “Bud” and Mary Fulkerson Robinson.

Scott was a devoted husband, son, and brother who was an avid sports fan, but most especially of Louisville Cardinals basketball, the San Francisco 49ers and NASCAR. He was passionate about racing and helped found the Robinson Racing dirt track team where he served as chief mechanic for many years. Scott loved to fish and could always be counted on for a good laugh and very obscure trivia. He was most recently employed as an assistant manager at O’Reilly Auto Parts on Parrish Avenue.

Scott joins his mother in peace and is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sherri; his father, William; his siblings, Doug (Rebecca) Robinson of Madisonville, Mindy (Randall) Blan, Randy (Shelli) Robinson, and Kandace (Tony) Sturgeon, all of Owensboro; his wonderful in-laws; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 18 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
