Scott Alan Oliver

Scott Alan Oliver, 37, of 511 Tampa Dr., Owensboro, died Saturday, May 17, 2003 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System after an extended battle with cancer. The Daviess County native worked for the Los Angeles Times as a Lead Digital Advertising Technician. He was a 1983 graduate of Apollo High School; a 1988 graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College with a bachelors degree in Business Management; and received his masters degree from the Keller School of Management in Business Administration.

He is survived by his father and mother, J.B. (Jay) and Ruby Oliver of Owensboro; his grandmother, Opal Robinson of Owensboro; a sister , Angela Baird of Owensboro; a nephew, Robert Baird of Owensboro; a niece, Jessica Baird of Owensboro; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services are 2 P.M. Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Monday, May 19, 2003 and after 9 A.M. on Tuesday.
