Scott Christian Durr

Scott Christian Soul Durr, 45, of 1420 Leitchfield Road, Owensboro, died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born September 30, 1960 to Rev. John C. and Audrey Charles Durr in Daviess County. He worked at Bob Evans Restaurant and served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Center Street Baptist Church, and enjoyed playing tennis and was an avid sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. John C. Durr; a son, Clayton Lamar McRath; grandparents, William and Mary L. Charles; two uncles, Edward Tyler and Ezzard Charles and an aunt, Bonnie Kate Reese.

Survivors include his sons, Christopher Scott McRath of Owensboro and Corry McRath of Portsmith, WV; his daughters, Jenise Renee McRath, Christina McRath, both of Owensboro and Torri McRath of Portsmith, WV; four grandchildren; mother, Audrey Durr Williams of Owensboro; his brothers, John Carson Durr and his wife, Beverly, Peter Collin Durr, all of Owensboro, William Clay Durr and his wife, Teresa of St. Louis, MO; his sisters, Mary Alice Durr, Valene I. Durr and Audrea Herman and her husband, Frank, all of Owensboro and a host of nieces and nephews.
