Scharlene Ruse Morris

Scharlene R. Morris, 86, of Owensboro, Kentucky died May 18, 2011, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in the Burkesville, KY to the late Charles and Laben Ruse, graduated from Whitesville High School in 1942, had worked in the aircraft plant in Evansville during WWII, graduated from Owensboro Tech as a certified nursing assistant and worked for Owensboro Daviess County Hospital for 21 years. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Malone in 1984.

Ms. Morris is survived by her son, David C. Morris of Owensboro.

Services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
