April 20, 1931 — February 10, 2009
Sarah Elizabeth Whitworth, 77 of Bon Harbor Nursing Facility, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was a home maker and a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church. She loved the nursing home staff, enjoyed watching U.K. Basketball, working crossword puzzles and listening to Christian Music.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Sallie and John Brooks.
Survivors include a daughter; Betty Bartlett and son; Paul Whitworth, granddaughter; Jennifer (Jason) Martin, all of Owensboro, and was expecting a great-grandson, Jack in May.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2009 at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m., and Friday after 8:30 a.m.
