Sarah Grace Ruth Speight

Sarah Grace (Ruth) Greene Speight, 89, of Owensboro, died October 20, 2016, at Hillcrest Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Boone, NC to the late Finley and Margie Greene, was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church and attended Christ Community Church. She loved dining out, baking, sewing and listening to the Trinity Broadcast. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Speight; daughter, Debra Jane Speight; grandson, Kenneth P. Clay; and brothers, Ronald Greene and Nick Greene.

Survivors include her children, Bill Speight (Jean) of Trinity, FL, Dan Speight (Donna) of Owensboro, Joan Clay (S.W.) of Owensboro and Carleen Werner (Steve) of Evansville, IN; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
