Sarah Martine Chandler

Sarah Martine Chandler, 72, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Signature Healthcare Hillcrest. She was born in Owensboro to the late Leroy and Ethel Mae Durham.
Sarah worked as a CNA for more than thirty-five years at various nursing homes. In retirement, she also worked as a private duty nurse. Sarah was an animal lover who enjoyed walking and fishing with her husband and formerly attended Grace Chapel church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Glenda Henry; and a nephew, Clinton Fink.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband of 17 years, Gary Chandler and a mother-in-law, Sarah E. Moore of Clarksville, TN.
The funeral service will be at 12 Noon Friday, February 19 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Friday after 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
