Sara Jeanette Curry

Sara Jeanette Willingham, Curry, 84, of 1119 Pennbrooke Avenue, Owensboro, died Friday, January 7, 2005 at Fordsville, KY. One of eleven children of the late Jonah and Annice Bell Willingham, she was born in Sorgho, KY, was a member of Tenth Street Baptist Church and had worked as a housekeeper for the Bolger, Hemphill, and Taylor families.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, James Edward Eddie Curry, a stepdaughter, Carol Linda Curry of Owensboro, a stepson, James R. Curry of Rochester, NY, James Edward Palmer of Louisville, whom she raised, a niece who was raised as her sister, Agnes Griffith of Owensboro, and several other nieces and nephews.

Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tenth Street Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
