Sanora Tucker Boone Pryor
December 22, 1926 — February 17, 2016
Sanora Tucker Boone Pryor, 89, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully February 17, 2016 under the care of SHC at Hillcrest. Mrs. Pryor was born December 22, 1926 in Livermore to the late J.C. and Dane Tucker. She retired from G.E., was a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church, and was known as having a big and giving heart.
Mrs. Pryor was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Douglas Boone; her second husband, John Pryor; siblings, Katy Garrett, C.F. Tucker, Virginia Drace, and Wilton Tucker.
Sanora leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews as well as close friends, Alice and Susan of Owensboro, who provided her with many happy moments.
Private services will be held. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
The family would like to express special appreciation to the caring staff at Hillcrest and Hospice.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hospice of W. Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing
