Sandra Eaton Watkins

Sandra Eaton Watkins, 66, of Maceo, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at her home. She was born May 27, 1948 in Daviess Co. to the late Ben W. and Shirley Taylor Eaton. She was a homemaker and had worked as an operating room technician at both Owensboro-Daviess Co. Hospital and Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed painting, was very artistic, and needlepoint. She loved listening to music, especially Elvis Presley, and going to their condo in Florida. Sandra had a great sense of humor and laugh, and always seemed to be the "life of the party". She was also preceded in death by a sister, Benita Brown in 2013.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Robert Watkins, her son, Chris Watkins and wife LaVita of Owensboro, her daughter, Kelly Turnham and husband Chris of Sorgho, two grandchildren, Katherine (Jeremy) Eversole of Reynolds Station, and Ashley Turnham of Sorgho, a great grandchild, Harlan Eversole, three sisters, Janice (Jerry) Manaway of Owensboro, Carolyn Pierce of Owensboro, and Rita (Jarold) Nickens of Corbin, two brothers, Wendell (Judith) Eaton and Tom Eaton, all of Owensboro, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 17, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
