Sandra Leah Barr

Sandra L. Barr, 59, of 3520 Dove Loop North, Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Lebanon, Pa. where she grew up and had also lived in Arizona until moving to Owensboro in 1979. She graduated from Ky. Wesleyan College and volunteered with the Reading for the Blind Talking Books Program receiving numerous awards.. She was an advocate with the Crisis Line and a published writer & artist.
Surviving is a sister and brother-in-law, Kaye & Clyde Sattizahn, a niece and her husband, Jean & Kerry Gerber, and their son, Joshua, all of Pine Grove, Pa., and her close friends, Mary Thale of Owensboro and Vida Goldtooth of Kirkland, Wa.
