Samuel Kerry Everly, 54, of Stoney Point, N.C., formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 in Stoney Point. He was born on November 11, 1959 in Owensboro, KY. He was a machinist and welder and had worked professionally for several Nascar Racing teams and drivers including Junior Johnson, Jeff Green, and Michael Waltrip. He was a member of the Muzzleloading Rifle Association and the French Broad Rifle and Muzzleloading Club in North Carolina, and enjoyed building muzzleloading rifles.

Samuel was survived by his parents, Sam and Betty Everly of Owensboro, a sister, Devona and husband mark Grace of Munford, TN, nieces and nephews, Shawna and husband Shawn Paris of Norfolk, VA, and Joshua and Matthew Grace of Munford, great nieces and nephews, Kenadi and Ariea Parish of Norfolk, aunts and uncle, Nettie V. Everly of Texas, and Charles and Joyce Anderson of Owensboro, and special friends, all the Chapman families in and around Stoney Point.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, August 9 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will begin at 4:00 P.M. Saturday.
